Two products, two separate fit questions

The OXO Brew Pour-Over Coffee Maker with Water Tank and the Fellow Carter Move Mug make sense in the same morning routine, but their shared purpose does not prove they fit together physically. Think about where the brewer rests and where the finished coffee travels as separate decisions. That prevents the travel mug from dictating an unstable brewing arrangement.

We recommend the OXO for its water-tank brewing role and the Carter Move for carrying a cup after brewing. If your priority is a single vessel from start to finish, this exact pairing has an unresolved compatibility question. Our recommended workflow uses a regular brewing mug and a transfer step.

Check the support, then the opening

Fellow lists a 61 mm mouth and a 77 mm body diameter for the Carter Move. Those measurements help with planning, but neither tells you whether the base of a particular dripper seats securely. The brewer's contact points and the mug rim both matter.

Fellow explicitly excludes AeroPress and Prismo from direct compatibility. Its broader statement about standard drippers does not confirm the OXO water-tank model. We have not performed that fit check. Use the OXO on a suitable stable mug instead of improvising an adapter or balancing it on the travel lid.

Before buying a replacement mug for any brewer, check the brewer's own instructions and the mug's shape together. A capacity label alone cannot answer the support question. A plain mug you already own may be the right brewing tool even when it is unsuitable for commuting.

Match the brew to the finished drink

The OXO tank has markings up to 12 ounces. Our Carter recommendation is the 12-ounce version, but equal headline numbers do not mean you should fill both to their maximum. Coffee additions and the closure need consideration too. Plan an 8- or 10-ounce brew first and inspect the actual fill level before closing the mug.

Work backward from your drink: decide whether it is black coffee, coffee with milk, or a smaller serving. Then choose the water amount. This is a serving plan, not a tested yield calculation; grounds retain water, and your preparation affects the amount that reaches the cup.

Check the drinking moment

The standard Carter Move requires opening its screw lid to drink. That suits a pause at a desk or a stationary stop. If you need a lid that operates with one hand, evaluate a different lid system on its own terms rather than assuming every Carter version behaves alike.

Measure your cup holder and bag pocket against the current product dimensions, leaving room to lift the mug out. Our recommendation remains specific: OXO for the brewing stage, Carter Move for the carrying stage, with the ordinary mug between them.
