Make room for the part you enjoy
If you like the idea of making coffee by hand before the day gets busy, start with two jobs: pouring hot water and holding the filter over your cup. The HARIO Buono kettle and white ceramic V60 are worth considering for those roles. Set them near your coffee and filters, with room to put the hot kettle down.
This is a routine for someone who wants to stay with the brew and manage the pour. If you need coffee to make itself while you get ready, skip this pairing. If your current kettle and brewer already work for you, keep them. You can change one part without buying the whole scene.
Buono kettle: choose it for the pour
The reason to compare Buono options is its slim spout. HARIO describes it as helping you control how much hot water you pour and how quickly it flows. That makes it relevant when a broad-spouted kettle feels awkward for the deliberate pour you want to practice.
Keep your existing pouring kettle if it already suits you. Before choosing a Buono, check that specific version's usable capacity and heating instructions against your routine. The family photo here does not establish a capacity, model number, or heat-source compatibility.
Ceramic V60: choose it for manual brewing
The white ceramic V60 gives a cone filter and ground coffee a place above a suitable mug or server. You supply the hot water and manage each pour. Consider it if you want a ceramic brewer for your counter and enjoy taking an active part in making the cup.
Select the dripper size for the amount you intend to brew, then buy the appropriate filters for that size. Keep a brewer you already enjoy; a matching-looking corner is not a reason to replace it. We have not identified the size of the dripper in this photo.
What else belongs in the setup
You will also need appropriate paper filters, ground coffee, hot water, and a stable, suitable mug or server that securely supports the selected dripper. Check its fit before brewing. The background mug is illustrative; we have not tested the pictured arrangement for fit.
Leave space for a used filter and a wet dripper after the coffee is ready. Follow the instructions supplied with the sizes and versions you buy. This guide is a shopping starting point, not a tested brewing recipe.
Choose the size, then check the listing
The Amazon buttons in the picks section search for each product family. Results can include other sizes, finishes, materials, or unrelated products. They do not select the exact items pictured. Check the brand, size, material, included accessories, seller, and product details on the listing you choose. The HARIO USA links provide manufacturer information for comparing current options.
Our selection is based on manufacturer information checked November 2, 2026. We have not used these products or tested them together. Product-family photos illustrate the idea; the photographed kettle capacity and dripper size remain unverified.
