Play the file you plan to share

You’ve spent Friday evening making a short video. Open the exported file on your Mac and play it from the beginning without touching the controls. When the picture ends, keep listening. Does the music land where you wanted it to?

If the last note gets clipped or a black frame flashes after the final shot, write down the time. Go back to that spot in your edit, make the change, then open the new export and play the ending again.

Set up the picture and sound

The 2022 Apple Studio Display is a 27-inch 5K external monitor. For this setup, connect it to a compatible Mac with a Thunderbolt cable and play the video on the Mac. Check your Mac model and macOS version against Apple’s compatibility list before buying.

For a late-night listen, put the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones in pairing mode. On the Mac that’s playing the file, open Bluetooth settings, connect to WH-1000XM4, then select the headphones as the sound output. A screen and headphones you already like will work for the same playback check.

Check the version before you buy

The paid display link opens an Amazon Renewed listing for the 2022 model with standard glass and a tilt-adjustable stand (MK0U3LL/A). The photo identifies the 2022 display, but its glass finish is unknown. Check which cable the seller includes and what return terms apply.
